Q: Where do I store my dinner plans?
Every Friday, you will receive a new Dinner Plan, which has been designed to fit your SmartPhone screen perfectly. When it arrives in your inbox, save it to your iBooks and move your iBooks App to your phone’s home screen. We also recommend downloading the Insta-cart Online Grocery Delivery App, if you wish to shop online, and save it to the lower menu bar of you phone as well. Now you’re always ready to access your plan and order your groceries.

You will be tempted to print it out, but we ask that you don’t. Let’s help save trees and learn to work from our Smartphones, iPhones, iBooks, iPads, and laptops. Okay? You will always know where it is and it’s neatly stored away. It’s hard to change but you got this! Remember that rotary phone? You learned not to use that anymore right? And you vowed you would never go on Instagram, but there you are checking your feed! We promise, you will learn! And you can always listen to nice music on your device, while you cook which is lovely.

Q: When will I receive my first dinner plan?
A: Your very first (beautifully designed) DinnerPlan will drop into your inbox as soon as you Join a plan. Then every Friday, you will receive a new Dinner Plan. These plans are always stored in our members area for you to access anytime.

Q: I want to go grocery shopping but I haven’t received this week’s email yet. Can I get it earlier than Friday?
A: Our weekly dinner plan email is not available in advance. It is saved to the members area every Friday morning by 10AM EST.

Q: How many servings does each recipe feed?
A: Our recipes are created to feed 4 comfortably, if you have leftovers, those would be perfect to bring for lunch the next day! We recommend stocking up on containers that make leftovers look cool.

Q: Why do you only send 5 dinners for the week?
A: After much research, we decided that it was not realistic to suggest more than a main dinner with a side. Know how hard getting the whole family around the dinner table every night of the week can be. But, we have a whole section devoted to dressings and vinaigrettes, if you wish to add a salad to each meal. Also we are working on a dessert section for members, which you can access if you prefer.

Q: Will I use up all of the groceries I purchase for the week’s recipes?
A: We do our very best to ensure that no ingredients go to waste or need to be kept. In some case there is simply no way to use them up completely, example using canned pumpkin, or fresh herbs. In this case we suggest freezing if possible, or using in sandwiches or salads for breakfast or lunch.

Q: Do you have any vegetarian dinner plans?
A: As of now we provide a Classic Plan which includes adaptations for proteins throughout the guide. If you have further questions, please feel free to contact us at info@annamagazine.ca and we will be more than happy to suggest a protein alternative!

Q: Do you post the recipes separately?
A: All of our recipes are available through our membership program. Each week you will be given 5 tried and true, triple tested recipes to make at home!

Q: Will I get the groceries delivered?
A: We are a dinner planning membership only, but we suggest using with Instacart as an online grocery delivery service! They have partnered with most Big Box grocery stores in Canada and the US, including SuperStore and Loblaws, and they can deliver your groceries for the week in just 2 hours. Links will be provided on each weeks email.

Q: Is the dinner plan suitable for diabetics?
A: Our dinner plan is designed to be low in sugar, fat and cholesterol, but with that being said, we recommend you consult your doctor or physician for special dietary needs.

Q: I don’t have any special cooking utensils, will I still be able to recreate these recipes?
A: Of course you can! We have designed the dinner plan with just this in mind, but if you do require a special utensil for a recipe, we have suggested an appropriate alternative. If you don’t have a Kitchen Aid mixer to make a dough, you’ll just have to roll up your sleeves and get to stirring! Think of it as your workout for the day.

Q: How do I cancel my subscription?
A: You can cancel your subscription anytime by signing into your account and cancelling. We’ll be sad to see you go but we are committed to 100% satisfaction from our members. If you decide to cancel your membership, it will be cancelled at the end of the billing cycle, and your card will no longer be charged.
